(Dypsis decaryi) - Triangular
Also known as Triangle Palm or Madagascar Palm, it is native to Madagascar and is noted for its slender, straight, robust, ringed trunk that tapers towards the top with a diameter of 25-35 cm. topped by a cluster of bright green fan-shaped leaves shaped like a triangle. This species prefers warm, sunny climates, tolerating dry conditions once established, and adapts well to a variety of well-drained soil types. It can reach 15 meters in height and is widely used in landscaping in tropical and subtropical areas, it is resistant to strong winds and is popular in parks, avenues and urban areas, as well as indoors in suitable regions, creating a focal point. It produces small cream or white flowers that develop in inflorescences between the leaves.
